Batch partnered with Disney’s in-house agency Yellowshoes to create a film that captures the magic of Walt Disney World. With infinite zooms, hidden easter eggs, and a seamless flow of discovery, the spot turned a campaign into a treasure hunt for true Disney fans.

We Are Batch collaborated with Walt Disney World’s in-house agency Yellowshoes on their Summer of Dreams campaign. The challenge was to pack an extraordinary range of attractions and characters into a short spot while keeping it fun, immersive, and true to Disney’s iconic spirit. The result was a bold 15-second film filled with energy, detail, and discovery.

The Challenge

Yellowshoes wanted to showcase four iconic locations, two brand new stages, seven Disney characters, the new Starlight Parade, and a family experiencing it all, all inside a 30-second TVC with social cutdowns. The challenge was to balance scope with clarity while ensuring that the piece captured Disney’s sense of magic and wonder without overwhelming the viewer.

The Approach

Batch designed the film around an infinite zoom structure that created flow and immersion. This allowed the viewer to experience Disney World as a continuous journey of discovery. To delight the brand’s most passionate fans, the team embedded 25 easter eggs inside the animation, designed in a classic Disney-inspired style. The film became both an efficient story and a treasure hunt.

The Process

The creative process began with style testing. Batch explored three distinct illustration and motion approaches:

• A silhouetted paper cut-out journey

• An abstract, dynamic approach

• A character-led frame with rich lighting and transitions

Disney chose to combine the strongest elements of all three directions, creating a final style that balanced simplicity, character, and fluid motion.

Batch also created rough animatics to test transitions. This helped the client see creative options quickly, make informed decisions, and stay engaged without being distracted by polish too early.

From there, the project moved from sketches to final renders. Careful planning kept the mood recognisable but distinct from Disney’s animated character canon, since these were designed as actors dressed up as Disney icons, not the characters themselves.

The Results

The film captured the joy and scale of Walt Disney World’s summer campaign while rewarding fan attention with hidden details. It delivered information quickly, held audience attention, and earned praise from Yellowshoes for both the creative and the collaborative process.

As the client put it:

“Our team has raved about working with you and the entire process has been a breeze with them start to finish. It can be tough working with additional feedback, changes, etc. but they have rolled with every punch. The fact that the work is as exceptional as it is on top of the smooth experience is icing on the cake. Happy to work Batch and M&S any time! I’m sure more opportunities with us are coming their way.”
